RosterPod Terms of Service
Effective date: August 5, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the RosterPod website, account, fantasy-baseball roster analysis, daily reports, email delivery, subscriptions, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
The Service is operated by ROSTERPOD LLC (“RosterPod,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account, starting a free trial, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use RosterPod
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to create an account, start a trial, or purchase a subscription. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and RosterPod does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
You must provide accurate, current account information and keep it updated. You are responsible for keeping your password and other login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at jcvfantasysports@gmail.com if you believe someone has used your account without permission.
You may not sell, transfer, or share your account in a way that bypasses plan or roster-slot limits.
2. What RosterPod does—and does not do
RosterPod provides automated fantasy-baseball and rotisserie roster analysis and daily reports for informational and entertainment purposes. Depending on the Service and your plan, reports may be available on the website and sent to the email address associated with your account.
RosterPod does not make fantasy-platform roster moves for you, manage your fantasy-platform account, or guarantee that you will receive a report at a particular time. You remain responsible for reviewing reports, making your own decisions, and complying with the rules of your league and fantasy platform.
The Service is not sports betting or gambling advice, and RosterPod is not a sportsbook or gambling operator. It is also not legal, tax, investment, medical, financial, professional-baseball, or other professional advice. Reports, rankings, projections, suggestions, player information, and other Service outputs are not guarantees. Fantasy sports involve uncertainty, and player availability, injuries, lineups, schedules, statistics, and data can change quickly or be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect.
You are responsible for your fantasy decisions, contest entries, wagers, and compliance with applicable law. If you gamble or wager, you do so independently, at your own risk, and only where lawful.
3. Rosters, imports, and roster slots
You may create a roster manually or import roster information through a method supported by the Service. You promise that you are authorized to provide the information you import and that you will not use another person’s fantasy-platform account, private information, or access credentials without permission.
Your subscription may include a limited number of active roster slots. A roster slot allows one roster to be active in the Service. You may add a roster only when you have an available active slot.
You may delete a roster through the Service. Deleting a roster frees its active roster slot, but it does not cancel your subscription, stop recurring billing, or entitle you to a refund. To cancel a subscription, use the billing process in Section 6.
If your plan ends or changes to a plan with fewer roster slots, rosters above the available-slot limit may no longer receive reports or other active features. RosterPod will not intentionally delete those rosters merely because a plan changes. You will be asked to choose which rosters remain active before the new roster limit takes effect. Data retention and deletion requests are handled under the Privacy Policy.
Ending a baseball season does not delete your rosters, reports, or account settings. Your active-roster limit applies again only after you choose and start a new subscription for a later season. Data retention and deletion requests remain governed by the Privacy Policy.
4. Your roster information and feedback
You retain any rights you have in the roster information, league settings, screenshots, preferences, and other material you provide to RosterPod (“User Data”).
You give RosterPod a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transmit, format, and display User Data only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, support, and improve the Service; comply with law; and enforce these Terms. RosterPod may use de-identified or aggregated information to understand and improve the Service. RosterPod’s handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
You promise that your User Data does not violate law, another person’s privacy, intellectual-property rights, or third-party platform rules. Do not submit sensitive personal information that RosterPod does not need to operate the Service.
If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback, we may use them without restriction or payment, but we will not publicly identify you as the source without your permission.
5. Plans and future products
Plan features, active-roster limits, billing period, and price will be shown before you purchase. You should read those details before completing checkout.
The 2027 Season Pass may be displayed as $69.99 and “Coming in 2027.” It is a one-time, non-renewing purchase planned for March 1 through September 30, 2027, and is not currently available to purchase. That display is informational only: it is not a reservation, sale, payment obligation, guarantee of availability, or promise that the final launch date, price, or features will stay the same. If the Season Pass becomes available, its purchase page will show the final price, dates, features, and other applicable terms before payment.
6. Subscriptions, renewals, billing, and cancellation
How checkout and access work
RosterPod uses Stripe-hosted Checkout to process purchases and the Stripe Customer Portal for subscription management. Stripe is a payment provider; it is not responsible for the Service itself.
After checkout, a return page, email receipt, or screenshot does not by itself establish paid access. Your paid features and active-roster entitlement begin when RosterPod receives and records confirmation that your account has an eligible subscription. This protects customers from duplicate browser tabs, delayed payment processing, and incomplete checkout attempts.
Automatic renewal
Unless a plan is clearly labeled as non-renewing, your subscription automatically renews for consecutive periods of the same length until you cancel or the applicable RosterPod season ends, whichever happens first. The enrollment screen will show the recurring price, billing interval, season end date, and how to cancel before you submit payment information.
By subscribing, you authorize RosterPod and Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the initial charge and each renewal that occurs before the season cutoff, plus applicable taxes, until cancellation or the season cutoff takes effect. Keep your payment information current.
Seasonal service and end of season
RosterPod’s subscription season runs from March 1 through September 30 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. The applicable season dates will also be shown on the pricing or checkout page.
Stripe will bill only complete monthly periods that fit before September 30. RosterPod will not start another monthly renewal if that complete paid period would extend beyond September 30. If the last complete paid period ends before September 30, RosterPod will continue the included paid features and roster-slot access at no additional charge through September 30. This short no-charge period is part of the season cutoff and is not a new paid billing period.
Paid reports, audio, and paid roster-slot access stop at the end of the season unless a different end date is clearly shown at checkout. Extra-roster subscriptions end with the account’s base subscription season. Complimentary access also ends no later than September 30.
The end of a season does not delete your account, rosters, reports, or settings. RosterPod retains and deletes that information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions do not restart automatically the next March. To receive paid Service in a later season, you must affirmatively choose a then-available plan and complete a new Stripe Checkout. A reminder or invitation to return is not a charge or a renewal.
Seven-day free trial
RosterPod offers eligible new customers a seven-day free trial. The trial starts when Stripe Checkout confirms your enrollment and lasts for seven days. The checkout page will clearly state the recurring price, billing interval, first-charge date or time, whether payment information is required to begin the trial, and how to cancel before you enroll.
Unless the checkout page expressly says otherwise, your trial automatically converts to a paid, season-bounded monthly subscription when the seven-day trial ends. RosterPod will charge the payment method you provided at the price and billing interval shown at checkout unless you cancel before the trial ends. To avoid the first charge, cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal before the trial ends. If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged, and access ends when the trial ends. RosterPod will not offer a new trial checkout so late in the season that the trial and one complete paid monthly period cannot fit before September 30.
Free trials are limited to one per person, household, account, or payment method unless RosterPod expressly states otherwise. RosterPod may decline or end a trial if it reasonably believes the trial is being abused.
Cancellation
You may cancel any time through the Stripe Customer Portal linked in your account settings, or by contacting jcvfantasysports@gmail.com if you cannot access the portal. A voluntary cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You will keep paid access through that date, but we will not charge you for another period. The separate no-charge tail through September 30 applies when RosterPod ends billing at its planned season cutoff; it does not extend a customer’s earlier voluntary cancellation.
RosterPod will make online cancellation reasonably easy to find and complete. We will not require you to call, chat with, or persuade a representative to cancel if you enrolled online. Cancellation does not refund a charge already paid except as described below or required by law.
Failed payments, chargebacks, and taxes
If a payment fails, expires, is reversed, or is disputed, Stripe or RosterPod may retry the charge as allowed by law and payment-network rules. We may pause paid features and roster-slot access until payment is confirmed. If the issue remains unresolved, we may cancel the subscription and handle retained data under the Privacy Policy.
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact jcvfantasysports@gmail.com so we can investigate. You may still contact your bank or card issuer; doing so does not itself cancel a subscription.
Prices are shown before purchase. Any sales, use, or similar taxes that RosterPod is required to collect may be added at checkout.
Refunds
RosterPod will issue a full refund of your first paid subscription charge if you ask within 14 days after that charge. Contact jcvfantasysports@gmail.com with the email address on your account and the approximate charge date.
After that 14-day first-charge period, subscription fees are not refundable and RosterPod does not provide prorated refunds for unused time, deleted rosters, missed reports, fantasy outcomes, or a decision not to use the Service. We may provide a credit, extension, or refund when the paid Service is materially unavailable for an extended period. Nothing in these Terms limits a consumer right that cannot legally be limited.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to show the refund.
Plan or price changes
RosterPod may change plans, features, active-roster limits, or prices for future billing periods or future seasons. We will not raise the price for a period you have already paid for. For an existing automatically renewing subscription, we will give at least 30 days’ advance notice of a price increase before it takes effect at a future renewal, unless a different notice is required by law. You may cancel before the increase takes effect. Because a later season requires a new Checkout, the plans and prices then offered may differ from the prior season.
7. Reports, email, maintenance, and availability
RosterPod uses service providers that may include Render, Supabase, Postmark, Stripe, and data providers to host the Service, maintain accounts, send email, process payments, and support features. A reference to a provider does not mean that provider sponsors, endorses, or guarantees RosterPod.
We aim to provide useful, timely reports, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, an exact delivery time, or successful delivery of every email. Maintenance, outages, data-source delays, provider failures, rate limits, software defects, internet problems, and other events may delay or prevent a report. Email may be delayed, rejected, or filtered by your email provider.
You are responsible for using a working email address, checking your spam or junk folder, and making any time-sensitive fantasy decisions independently. We may change, suspend, or discontinue a feature. If we permanently discontinue prepaid paid features before the end of a paid period, we will provide a remedy required by law and may provide a reasonable credit, extension, or refund.
8. Acceptable use
You may use RosterPod only for lawful, personal, non-commercial fantasy-sports purposes. You may not:
* access another person’s account, private report, or nonpublic data without permission;
* share credentials to bypass plan, account, or roster-slot limits;
* scrape, crawl, spider, bulk-download, harvest, or use automated tools to extract the Service, reports, or data unless we have expressly authorized it in writing;
* copy, publish, resell, sublicense, syndicate, or commercially exploit the Service or its reports;
* reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or try to discover RosterPod’s source code, models, methods, or nonpublic interfaces, except where a restriction is prohibited by law;
* bypass security, authentication, rate limits, payment controls, or other technical restrictions;
* probe or test the Service for vulnerabilities without written authorization;
* upload malware, interfere with the Service, or use it to harm another person or system;
* submit unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, abusive, or privacy-violating content;
* falsely suggest an affiliation with RosterPod; or
* use RosterPod in violation of law, league rules, fantasy-platform terms, contest rules, or another person’s rights.
We may investigate suspected misuse and may suspend access to protect the Service, users, or third parties.
9. RosterPod’s intellectual property
RosterPod and its licensors own the Service, including the software and systems used to provide it, its design, branding, report formats, original text, graphics, audio, and other original content. Except for the limited access right stated below, no rights are granted to you.
While your account is eligible to use the Service, RosterPod gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to access the Service and receive its reports for personal, non-commercial purposes under these Terms. This right does not give you a license to download, install, possess, copy, or use RosterPod’s software.
10. Third-party platforms, data, and trademarks
RosterPod may use or refer to third-party fantasy platforms, sports-data providers, payment processors, hosting providers, and email providers. These parties operate independently. Their services or data may change, be unavailable, be delayed, or contain errors. Your relationship with each third party is governed by its own terms and policies.
You are responsible for confirming that your roster import or other use of a fantasy platform is authorized and complies with that platform’s terms. RosterPod does not ask you to bypass a third party’s access controls.
Major League Baseball, MLB, MLB clubs, Yahoo, ESPN, CBS, Stripe, Postmark, Render, Supabase, and other third-party names, logos, and marks belong to their respective owners. References are for identification only. RosterPod is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by these parties unless it expressly says so in writing.
11. Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information, and how to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. It is part of these Terms.
You agree that we may send necessary account, payment, security, report-delivery, season-ending, and Service-related messages to the contact information connected to your account. A March invitation to start a new subscription is a marketing message and will be sent only when permitted by your marketing-email choice and applicable law. Marketing email will include an unsubscribe option. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary transactional or Service messages.
12. Suspension, termination, and account deletion
You may stop using RosterPod at any time. You may cancel a subscription under Section 6 and request account deletion under the Privacy Policy. Stopping use or deleting a roster does not automatically cancel a subscription.
We may suspend or end your access if we reasonably believe that you materially violated these Terms; your payment is overdue, fraudulent, reversed, or disputed; your use creates security, legal, or operational risk; or suspension is required by law or a provider. Where practical, we will give notice and a chance to correct the issue. We may act immediately when needed to prevent harm, fraud, or a security incident.
We may discontinue the Service. If we do, we will honor rights that cannot legally be waived and will handle personal information according to the Privacy Policy.
13. Disclaimers
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, ROSTERPOD IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” ROSTERPOD DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND RESULTS.
We do not promise that the Service, reports, projections, recommendations, data, player information, or email will be accurate, complete, current, secure, error-free, uninterrupted, or delivered at a particular time. We do not promise any fantasy-league result, contest result, player performance, or financial outcome.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. In those places, these exclusions apply only as far as the law allows.
14. Limits on liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, ROSTERPOD AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, MISSED ROSTER MOVES, FANTASY-LEAGUE OUTCOMES, CONTEST RESULTS, OR WAGERING LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF ROSTERPOD AND THE PARTIES LISTED ABOVE FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID ROSTERPOD IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) $100.
These limits do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.
15. Claims caused by misuse
To the fullest extent allowed by law, you will reimburse RosterPod for reasonable losses and costs arising from a third-party claim caused by your unauthorized use of another person’s account or data, your commercial resale or unlawful misuse of the Service, or your material violation of these Terms or another person’s rights. RosterPod will promptly notify you of a covered claim and will not settle it in a way that imposes a non-monetary obligation on you without your consent.
16. Disputes, governing law, and venue
Before filing a formal claim, you and RosterPod will try in good faith for 30 days to resolve the issue informally. Send a description of the issue and requested resolution to jcvfantasysports@gmail.com. We may contact you using the email address associated with your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections where you live may still apply. Subject to any right to use small-claims court or another forum required by law, disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
RosterPod does not use mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver in this recommended draft. Do not add either one without a separate attorney review and a clear decision about whether it is appropriate for the business and customers.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for the future. If a change is material, we will give reasonable advance notice by email, an account notice, or by posting the updated Terms with a new effective date. Changes will not retroactively change a dispute that arose before the change. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel a renewing subscription before the new Terms take effect.
18. Accessibility and contact
RosterPod aims to make the Service accessible. If you have difficulty accessing the Service or need these Terms in another format, contact jcvfantasysports@gmail.com and tell us what assistance you need.
Questions about the Service or these Terms can be sent to:

19. General terms
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the plan details shown at checkout are the agreement between you and RosterPod about the Service. If plan-specific terms shown at checkout conflict with these Terms, the more specific checkout terms control for that purchase, subject to applicable law.
If part of these Terms is unenforceable, it will be changed only as much as needed or removed, and the rest will remain in effect. If RosterPod does not enforce a provision, that does not waive it. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written permission. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
